The Big Grill is Europe’s largest BBQ festival, and returns for its sixth year from 15th – 18th August 2019 in Dublin, Ireland.
The festival celebrates the art of cooking with fire & smoke bringing chefs cooks and pitmasters from Ireland, UK and further along with over 20,000 visitors to smell, taste, discover and learn about all kinds of barbecuing, grilling, smoking, vegetables, meats, delicacies and drinks.
Over 20 restaurants join for the weekend, with the only rule being they must cook with live fire using natural charcoal and wood only; no gas or electricity. Cue competitive fire pit builds in the lead up to the festival and plenty of theatre over the weekend. This years fire-filled line up, curated by pitmaster & festival co-founder Andy Noonan, has a distinct international street food vibe with New York, London, Buenos Aires and Birmingham all represented.
Offside Dining Experience
An intimate dining experience with only 20 spaces available for each sitting. You will dine around our PARRILLA grill, up close and personal with each chef, who will serve a surprise menu with matching drinks. Please note that you must have a ticket to the Big Grill to attend the Offside Dinners.
‘PARRILLA’ hosted by Asador Rama Basilio a native of Buenos Aires, he will present a 4-course journey through Argentine Asado Includes drinks pairings.

Hunter Gather Cook
Hunter Gather Cook present: A Wild Feast using an array of locally foraged ingredients and wild game, paired with wild cocktails and natural wines. A chance to get a taster of Hunter Gather Cooks infamous course days and feasts held at their Sussex Treehouse and Shepards Barn

Nick Solares presents: ‘All Good Things Come In Time…’ A journey through dry-aged steak. Learn all about and taste your way through the varying stages of the dry-ageing process, seated around the grill with Nick Solares.
